I’m a senior at the University of Missouri studying broadcast journalism. In addition, I work at the NBC affiliate KOMU-TV 8 here in Columbia, Mo. as a newscast producer.
I’m drawn to television’s unique ability to not just tell a story, but to show one. Television’s combination of video and audio makes it unlike any other medium and that is why I fell in love with it. As a journalist I am dedicated to telling the story, and am curious to explore formats beyond the 5:00 and 6:00 news.
